Foreclosure Prevention Clinics
The Ohio Rescue Program offered by The Home Ownership Center of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. (HOC) is designed to assist owner occupied households in need of:
- A repayment plan
- Loan modification
- Refinance
- Forbearance
- Rescue funds
- Deed-in-lieu
- Short sale and more
As with any program, there are necessary requirements that you must meet in order to receive assistance. The HOC will review those requirements at our orientation clinics and assist you in completing the required documents.
These clinics are provided as a way for you to receive technical assistance and support for an interaction with your lender.

Clinics- Checklist
In order to assist you in saving your home, we will need you to provide certain documentation for our review. Please bring a
COPY of each of the following documents to the Foreclosure Prevention Clinic:
- Provide proof of income:
- 1 month most recent consecutive paystubs
- 2006 and 2007 W-2’s
- 2008 social security awards letter
- 2008 retirement awards letter
- 12 month printout of your 2008 child support statement
- Provide most recent payment statement/history from your lender to include:
- Balance owed and the amount of delinquency
- Current mortgage payment
- A written copy of any payment arrangement or workout plan you have already made with your lender
- Provide last 2 months bank statements: (from checking, saving, 401-k, CD’s, IRS’s or other investment annuities)
- Provide a copy of your most current homeowner’s insurance renewal statement to include: current policy date, total amount of coverage and the annual premium
- Provide a copy of your most current tax bill only if taxes are not included in your monthly payment.
- If self-employed or commission, please provide the following:
- Complete tax returns with all schedules for 2006 and 2007
- 1099 income statement for 2006 and 2007
- Year-To-Date profit and loss statement for 2008
